Scenic Lift Tickets
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It’s the best way to take in mountain views in the summer and fall. You’ll depart from Sunday River’s South Ridge base area on one of the Chondola’s six-person open air chairs. The ride to the top of North Peak is approximately 11 minutes long. Once at North Peak, enjoy sweeping views of the Mahoosuc Mountains and Sunday River Valley before using one of the Chondola’s gondola cabins to ride back down. Hiking trails are also an option.
Sunday River’s Chondola is dog, kid, and grandparent-friendly, so you'll want to pack up your whole family for this scenic adventure. Please note that all scenic lift tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable.
Your Scenic Chairlift Ticket(s)
After purchase, you will receive two emails: a confirmation email and a your "e-ticket" email with your QR access codes. These codes are scanned at the base of chairlift! You do NOT need to print the QR Codes. They can be scanned from your phone.
Sunday River Outfitters Axe Throwing

Whether you're a novice or a pro, Sunday River Axe Throwing has 1-hour group sessions for all skill levels.
Axe Throwing sessions are available daily for ages 8 and older. All children who are under 18 years old are required to have adult supervision.
Check-In: Sunday River Outfitters is located at the South Ridge base area. Please arrive fifteen minutes before the start of the session.
Please wear appropriate footwear. Eye protection is provided.
Sunday River Outfitters - Intro to Kayak
Our 90-minute Intro to Kayaking session is a fun way to learn basic skills and safety techniques necessary to enjoy exploring Maine waterways.|
Taught by Sunday River Outfitter instructors, learn stroke techniques, kayak design, all the lingo, and more at the Sunday River snowmaking pond.
Minimum age: Must be 8 years old or older to participate. Any individual under 18 must have parent or guardian supervision.
All necessary equipment is provided: personal flotation device, kayak, shoes, and paddle.
Session available on Mondays.
Sunday River Outfitters- Kayak Tour
Take a 3-hour guided local kayak tour with Registered Maine Guides on Round Pond in Greenwood.|
Explore the birthplace of L.L.Bean’s founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, and learn about the local history, and the plants and wildlife around the pond.
Minimum age: Must be 10 years old or older to participate. Any individual under 18 must have parent or guardian supervision.
All necessary equipment is provided: life jacket, kayak, and paddle.
Session available Tuesday through Sunday.
Sunday River Outfitters - Intro to Stand-Up Paddleboarding
Try the exciting sport of Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) in our 90-minute course. |
Taught by Sunday River Outfitter instructors, learn fundamental paddle strokes, water safety skills, and enjoy scenic waters.
Minimum age: Must be 8 years old or older to participate. Any individual under 18 must have parent or guardian supervision.
All necessary equipment is provided: personal flotation device, paddle, and board.
Sessions are available on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Sunday River Outfitters Archery
Sharpen your archery skills on our range, featuring 12 targets. | Sunday River Archery classes accommodate all skill levels, from beginners to advanced archers. Participants use a recurve bow and can shoot from 10 to 40 yards during the 1-hour session.
Archery sessions are available Monday through Thursday for ages 8 and older. All children who are under 18 years old are required to have adult supervision.

Beginner Hatha Yoga
Location of class: Poolside at the Jordan Hotel at Sunday River Resort
Class start time: Tuesdays at 2:00pm
Class Description: (60min Class) Hatha Flow: A strength-building, foundation-focused class - we begin in brief meditation to focus & calm the mind, then transition to warming up the breath & body, and build to standing postures & flowing movements - holding in certain poses to encourage alignment, while flowing vinyasa movements from posture-to-posture sync with your breath. We slow down & finish in another brief meditation to seal our practice. All levels welcome! Equipment is provided, but feel free to bring your own. This class is held outside, so please dress appropriately.
Cancellation policy: A full refund will be granted if the class is rained out. However, a refund will not be issued if the client cancels within 24-hours.
